Surga Yang Tak Dirindukan 2 Heavenly Haven 2 is a romantic drama film from Indonesia directed by Hanung Bramantyo and released in 2017. It is the sequel to the highly successful original film, Surga Yang Tak Dirindukan Heavenly Haven, which was released in 2015. The movie follows the life of Fahri Fedi Nuril and his wife Aisha Laudya Cynthia Bella, who have been married for several years and have a young daughter together. Fahri is a successful architect while Aisha is a devoted housewife. They seem to have the perfect life until Fahri receives an offer to work in a prestigious architectural firm in the United States, which requires him to move there for a minimum of two Fahri and Aisha have always had dreams of building a family together and growing old together, the prospect of being separated from each other for two years is devastating for both of them. Although Fahri initially rejects the offer, he eventually accepts it after being encouraged by his boss and mentor, Pak Karyo August Melasz, who tells him that this is an opportunity of a who is a devout Muslim, is initially hesitant about the idea of moving to the United States since it would mean leaving behind her family and friends, as well as their Islamic community.
